Each event centers on a particular myth, looking at the symbolism and archetypal structure through the lens of Jungian Psychology. This is a lecture style event that also employs exercises and group discussions to facilitate introspection and personal growth.
THIS MONTH'S MYTH: THE LABORS OF HERCULES
The Labors of Hercules represent a series of encounters with the unconscious in its different aspects, a long and arduous Hero’s Journey that aims for transformation. It reveals how a one-sided heroic consciousness can be destructive and the path of redemption that is necessary to bring oneself back into relationship with the archetype of wholeness.
